These terms govern your use of the QuoteMySmile mobile app and
website. By signing in you accept them. Final lawyer-reviewed wording
lives in the in-app screen at /legal/terms and overrides
any older copy here.
What QuoteMySmile is — and isn't
We are an introduction marketplace between Australian patients and AHPRA-registered dentists. We are not a clinical service. Every treatment decision is between you and the dentist you choose. Quotes are indicative until your clinical examination.
Eligibility
You must be an Australian resident, 18 or over (or have a parent / guardian acting on your behalf). Dentists must be AHPRA-registered with no current suspension or cancellation, hold current Professional Indemnity Insurance, and operate from a registered Australian business.
Deposits & pricing
QuoteMySmile is free for patients. Booking a consult requires a refundable platform security deposit ($50–$100 depending on the quote). The deposit is held by QuoteMySmile, never by the dentist.
- You attend: the deposit is refunded in full to your card within 5 business days.
- You cancel 24h+ before the slot: full refund.
- You cancel inside 24h or no-show: deposit forfeited as a no-show fee.
Our revenue comes from a flat A$5 platform fee paid by the dentist for each attended booking. We do not share treatment fees with dentists — the clinical bill flows directly from you to the practitioner.
Dentist responsibilities
Quoting dentists are the responsible registered practitioner for every quote they submit, must comply with AHPRA advertising guidelines (no testimonial language, no outcome promises, no guarantees), and agree their note text is screened for non-compliant language before being shown to patients.
Reviews
Only patients who attended a booked consult can leave a review. Reviews can be moderated for personal attacks, naming third parties, or clearly defamatory content. Honest negative feedback is allowed and encouraged.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the prior twelve months. Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Booking, deposit, or refund disputes: support@quotemysmile.com.au. Clinical complaints: AHPRA (ahpra.gov.au). Jurisdiction: courts of Victoria, Australia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are pushed to the app and emailed to your account address with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
